My company does not offer 401K and do not qualify for standard Roth. So, I have to convert traditional IRA to a Roth (back door IRA). Rather pay taxes now, with the idea my tax bracket will hopefully be higher.

I don’t feel taxes will increase enough for a conversion for most. I think it’s more about how much money you plan on taking out of your retirement per year is going to decide your tax bracket. Not many people take home more in retirement than on the job, which puts them in a lower bracket.Comment

VIX on the rise. All my reflation positions are getting killed, even when the underlying commodity prices haven't moved that much.
