    Ford rear ended

How the hell did you do that?

Quick search found 4-6k for a whole assembly. I’d do some research or look for one in a junk yard.

Get a complete assembly from the junk yard.

Around here you can always find a Ford truck shop or an individual that parts out Ford trucks.

I've got a '99 F250 chassis w/ powertrain I'm going to parts out. I'm going to sell the front and rear ends for $200 each.

It's always tough to sell the later model stuff.

Do a search on CL and FBMP.

          There is a 2014 F350 rear on Dallas CL for $850, a 2008 for $600, a 2003 for $300.

That was just the first few items that popped up.

If you don't want to swap it yourself, I'd call an independent 4x4 shop.

I found a shop that would swap it parts and labor for $1200

You should be able to find a complete rear end for $5-$600. Should take you about 4-5 hours in the driveway to replace.

What happened other than the obvious? I have a 2012 with 200k that has a touch of rear end slack on takeoff.

I would trust this rather than a pick-and-pull. Of course make sure the axle is the same.

Not sure from looks of it looks like the nut or bearing went out then finally gave way luckily I was at a light making a turn when this happened and not 5 min before hand when I was on the highway I bought truck used and have put 100k plus miles on truck with a trailer behind it
