My camera is still showing it’s on AA battery power even though I have the 12v box on it and I switched the battery mode in the app. Do I need to completely remove the AA battery box from the camera? I also read I may need an adapter for the power jack into the camera. I have the cord plugged in and secured with a zip tie so it can’t come loose. Just curious why it doesn’t or if it even will recognize the 12v power source.

I've got mine set for ulimited pix, every three minutes, broadcast 12x per day and my battery stays at 100% all the time.

You might consider some of those zip ties that have a ring on them and put one tight at the base of the plug then put a smaller one through the ring and pull it up tight into the camera. I've never had the critters pull it loose even when the coons knocked it over.
