Makes me wonder now since I’m about to pull the trigger on a Ghost Controls system. Hmmm

I wonder if you added their Zombie Lock system? It would obviously keep the gate in place....and have added security of course.

I am looking at the Zombie lock also but the reviews on Amazon aren't that great. Over priced and low tolerances are the main issues.

I think I'm going with a 14' 1 3/4" tube gate. It only weighs 60 lbs. The other option is a 14' 2" tube gate that is heavier duty. It weighs 140 lbs. So neither are very heavy. Going with 6"x6" treated post. I will concrete it in and brace it with 2 or 3 2x6s to another 6"x6" post. Should be plenty stout to hold either gate I would think. I'll probably let it settle for a week or two before adding the ghost opener to it.
