my good friend and new hunting lease member "Mxracer", Todd Heemsburgen!
This guy is a long time friend and a relatively new hunter that joined our lease in the San Angelo area for this upcoming season.
I invited him and his 2 boys down to hunt as guests last season and they had a friggin' ball!
His 2 sons, Tyler (15 soon to be 16) and Tanner (7) experienced things they never have had the opportunitty to do before and were hooked. Both of them shot 2 deer apiece on the last weekend of gun season.
I originally met him in the amature motocross racing scene and have plenty of stories to tell in that department.
Due to the kids getting older and having other interests, mainly chasing young girls, it has taken a toll on the amount of time we got to spend with our kids that we were used to having while attending MX races.
Hunting and time at the deer lease has always been a big part of my quality time with my boys. I think Todd (MXracer) saw the same opportunity to continue to bond with his boys, especially the 15 year. This was a void created when the MX racing stuff came to a close for them.
It is still a big part of his life as he owns and operates a custom bike shop that caters to the sport of motocross in the North Richland Hills area of Ft. Worth. He has customers from all over the country and all over the world for that matter.
Anyway I am excited to welcome him to the wonderful sport of hunting that we all share here as well as my personally lease and the campfire we commonly call the "greenscreen".
PS, I also need him to get his post count up so we can find him a camper and deer stand big enough for him and the boys in area 51 (the classifieds)!
