Not a chance rained all night. No getting in the pasture this weekend

It has poured in the Tilden to Los Angeles area, I drive those roads every week checking on jobs. So if your in that area, you have gotten rain but the roads are probably sloppy unless you can stay on the oilfield lease roads.

Yep, trip is cancelled for this weekend. Landowner said at least 3” at the ranch.

As dry as it has been, it wont take much time on our place to dry out enough that we can get around on the Rangers without tearing up the roads....

I will go this weekend and sit on the porch and have some whiskey drinks if nothing else...

I'm only showing 1" in the last two days at our lease south of Fowlerton according to my app.

Farmlogs said 1.7” for us but neighbor said we got 2.3”. Either way it is nice to get some rain. Nice and cool too!

You sound just like the guys I hang out with. Always something to do at the deer lease. Sometimes that something is sitting on the porch drinking. I've skipped more than a few afternoon hunts because of the conversations and adult beverages happening on the porch. That's the best thing we built at the lease many years ago.

We can’t shoot trophies until Dec but we have a few nice management 7 and 8’s to target.
