Gratefulhead pizza is good groceries. Right across the street is a wine tasting venue (Girls Gone Wine! ) and a new grille-brewery. We hit them all up one weekend last summer and had a big time.
It was our first time staying at Beavers Bend...first class all the way around.
don't waste your time at Gratefulhead pizza, we were there last weekend and tried them. Only have two sizes of pizza, small (10 inch) $15.00 and large (14 inch) $30.00. the boxes are bigger than the pizza's and they are cheap with the toppings. They also do not accept cash, cards only and on the very bottom of the menu it states that they are charging you the 3% merchant fee for using the credit cards. ENJOY!!!!!

That’s a heck of a deal! Pass it on to the consumer. Not to subtle.

The 3% is what the card companies charge not what the business charges.
We always rent a boat and pull the kiddos around the lake on a tube a couple days and also rent a UTV and go exploring on the trails in the national forest. We usually rent from Bandits right there on 259. Fishing the river for trout. Zip lining as well.
