    Hunts this season

    Axis,Orex,Nilgai or Mule Deer.
I’m trying to decide what to chase next. I’ve done the elk for 2 yrs And killed 2 good bulls. Now I want to switch it up and chase some exotics or a mule deer.
Who do y’all recommend to get this done.

“Gladesgator” here on TBH can fix you up with an Axis and he isn’t far from you.

Oryx and Nilgai are tied on my list. If Oryx I’d go with Gemsbok before Scimitar.

Mule Deer I’d head to the Panhandle for a Tx Muley or Colorado!

Go to New Mexico for an oryx. I'm going for one in July. I've already shot a nilgai and cant really justify the cost for a guided elk hunt

Antlers86 pretty much said it all. Look up Kayote Barrera on Facebook for Nilgai hunts

Yes, I'm going after Nilgai, the last week of the year.

I didn't go with Kayote, because he (& others) specialize in hunting at night with the thermal.

I am not the least bit opposed to this.

But a big part of my enjoyment of a hunt is seeing the game. That can't be the same, hunting after dark.
