He's asking you, if you could check out his two teeth that he has left, to make sure they are good.

That's the most colorful moccasin I have ever seen, that size. Usually by that size, they are pretty dark colored. I have seen pictures in books like that, but never in person.

That's a juvenile. Look at the green tip on the tail end

Yep, and when agitated they will shake that tail just like a rattler.

It's lost it's yellow tail, the tail will always be a slightly different color than the rest of the body. I made the mistake of thinking young moccasins were not possibly venomous snakes as a kid. We had them all over the place, and they had yellow tails. They could not be venomous. I caught two and tried to keep them as pets, I used to have all types of snakes as a kid. But those dang yellow tailed snakes always had very bad tempers. Anytime I got near the aquarium, they were constantly striking at me. So I got out my snake book looked them up and found both young moccasins and copper heads, have yellow tails. Woops. So after that, we started killing those yellow tailed snakes that were all over the place. Then eventually my little brother found momma, while looking for bugs in the grass, for his school science project.
