Not a salsa expert but judging by the avatars on this thread Traildust wins the Texas Salsa debate hands down.

He has the Lonestar flag on his somewhere...

Hey sorry I saw this late, Hoovers in Burnet has it and also I think TBH'er owned Hudsons meat market has it. Its the same salsa at the now closed Diegos restaraunt in Burnet had. He's working on getting into HEB. Its super fantastic. Promise. If anyone wants to try it, Ill grab some and will ship. Its that good.

No worries. I am at Hoover's all the time. I usually just go to the contractor counter out by the lumber yard. Pretty sure that's why I haven't seen it...

Marks OL46 salsa from HEB has been our favorite for a long time.

This one's my fav--Roasted serrano and garlic flavor, gimme a bag of Tostito Scoops and I'm in Texas heaven.

Roasted tomatoes, jalapeno & onion. Gluten free. No sugar added. Family owned. Award winning salsa. All natural. Premium beyond others. When my father, Eddie, founded our company in 1997, we made deliveries to stores by pickup truck and taste-tested every batch. Decades later, we've long outgrown the personal delivery business but still sample each batch. Why? We do it for the same reason every chef, parent and foodie tastes every dish before serving others-you deserve only the very best we can make! Thank you, customers! - Brian Sanders. No MSG. Go Texan. Austin chronicle 1st place celebrity judge award winner. Made with Roma tomatoes! www.texastexassalsa.com.

Ok. I"ve made my shopping list. I will let you know the true winner! I'm missing 95% of my colon (thanks Obama)....so anything spicy hurts like hell! But I don't care. I'm all about the spice.

I prefer the hot version though.

The wright Habanero is our favorite. It’s located in the cold section by the cream cheese and sour cream. Very fresh salsa.

Mrs. Renfro's Mango Habenero salsa and the Peach Salsa are worthy alternatives for a 'sweet' after-bite kick.

Clint's Texas salsas are definitely worth a try!
