    Ranch King Trailers

I’m in the market for a new 18-20’ heavier (10k or higher) duty utility trailer. Had been thinking about checking out the Ranch Kings. Dropped by a buddies shop today and a guy had one there and I got a chance to look it over in detail. Awesome trailer.

With that said, is there a brand that is truly comparable that I’m missing? More importantly, does anyone know who has the best prices on Ranch Kings?

I got my best price from shoppas in bay city.

There are lots of comparable trailers. However, they’re the only ones I know of who use top rail square tubing.

They build a nice trailer, however, if I was in your shoes ( and I was) I would look at many more to see.

If you bought a ranch king, you wouldn’t be making a bad decision though.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but I'm also in the market for a similar trailer. I'm following for the recommendations.

One of the few that paint underneath the trailer. I like the LED lights and heavy gauge fenders. I have an 18’ that pulls great.

I have one and it is the best thought out trailer I have ever owned.

They are out of Belleville, TX. Same owners as Trailer Wheel and Frame in Houston.

I started a thread about Big Tex trailers, but there is some good info about several others.

The cheapest place that I have found on Ranch King was the trailer place in Wharton. Not sure where you are, but Tem Trail is getting my business, once the one I want comes in. They have a dealer in Brazoria(Toms Trailers). They seem to be the most beefy and heavy duty.....to me.

PJ makes a good, well thought-out trailer.

The ONLY problem with Ranch King trailers is the thieves love them too. Just had my 14'er stolen.

Well I found a pretty good deal on a trailer that is almost exactly what I want. The only thing it lacks is 2’ of length. I was really wanting an 18’ but found a 16’ Lamar with everything else that I want so I think I’m gonna make a deal on it tomorrow. Thanks guys

I’ve got a 20’ Lamar equipment trailer that I’ve been happy with.

I don’t want to bust bubbles, but if you wanted 18’ you should go get you a 20’!

I hear ya. I follow that logic regularly. Kinda like I’ve never heard someone wish that they had built a smaller barn. But the extra 2’ to an 18’ wasn’t something that I NEEDED. It was just something that I knew that I would use occasionally. I’ve got a deck over 20’ that I can use if the job requires it.
