    Colorado rv spots

About to start planning a trip to Colorado this summer, will be pulling a rv. Looking for recommendations on where to go that would be fun for the kids (11, 4, 1). Would like to have full hook ups for the rv.

          Absolutely love Castle Lakes.

Another one to look at is Molas Lake Campground.

I wouldn't get too excited about coming up here yet. Things are still pretty much locked down and our governor keeps extending it.

We are supposed to leave for pagosa springs with our RV June 19th. The Colorado tourism office put out a campaign asking out of state visitors not to come to colorado . I've talked to several campgrounds and KOA parks along our route. Seems like they are all up and running and telling us to come. We still plan to go, but I am a little worried. Hopefully things ease a little in the next few weeks.

The problem I have in Colorado is that every RV campground is a parking lot. They cram you in there 6 feet apart. The only way I have enjoyed Colorado camping is dry camping. I wish I could find a place with hookups that wasn't a parking lot.

We go to a private campground in the national forest. Its not crowded at all. Only 20 or 30 spots.

We are going to Lake Vallecito for July 4. Staying at Blue Spruce RV. Went last year and had a really good time. Heard things have changed though and a lot of activities are being cut around the lake do to social distancing. We shall see. My parents spend the entire summer every year in this park.

We have visited several RV Campgrounds and this one bar far is the best one we have stayed at. Dont wait too long for this place though because the available spots fill up fast.

Yep Colorado has stated that they do not want out of staet visitors this summer, Wyoming will take you.
Less crowds unless you are in one of the National Parks.
