    Portable Generators

Looking for a portable generator around 7500 to 9500 running watts. Anyone use a, Duro Max or a Westinghouse or a Briggs?
    Any other suggestions?

We were looking at Hondas 2 years ago at True Value when the sales associate told us to check out Powerhorse. So we did and bought 2 and have been really happy with performance and price.

Never used those 3, but have a Rigid & a Champion. I'd recommend both, but for cost & sheer dependability the Champion has been much better than expected.

Take into account the gas usage along with reliability of course when considering a generator. After living in the Houston area for almost 35 years finding gas at times could be a challenge. The circumstances I am making reference to is emergency situations mainly.

I have a dual fuel Champion and haven’t put gas in it. Propane only, there are 2 drawbacks 1 lower running watts 2- starting it can be finicky at times

We've had several brands we used for running hybrid poly tools, (Oilfield heavy use daily), nothing lasted more than a year, Honda and Briggs lasted the longest. Go with the best you got the coin for, had some brands that wouldn't last a month!
