We paid like $360 or so for the camera and Solar Panel not much more, You add a line to ur phone plan for like $11 a month. It sends u notifications when it sees something. Yes it is meant has a security Camera. It has a Siren u can trigger from the app but no need for that unless u want to scare away Hogs. You log on with the App anytime of day to see what is moving around ur feeder. It is always watching

Can you use multiple cameras one one plan? Sorry for all questions. I may be getting a place 5.5 hrs from the house and needs some type of cameras to monitor it.

Website says only 23 ft (not even 8 yds) motion detection distance. Any issues with it not triggering??

Do you pay for their “premier access” app? I’m unsure what the best way is to pay the subscriptions? I would like to run two cameras.

AT&T works best at my place so I have the Covert Code Black which runs off AT&T towers.

So, simply needs to be added to our existing Verizon account at $7 per cam per month along with whatever monthly subscription you pick based on number of pictures you require?? That easy?

I actually started with the free service from Spartan, after I added them to my Verizon plan ($5.00 per/$4.25 for veteran discount with unlimited data). It worked well but I decided that I wanted real-time pics sent to the mobile app and ordered premium credits through Spartan. Each camera comes with one free that equals one free month. It takes 1 credit per camera per month and it works great. If you buy 12 at a time, it is $3 per credit, so $3 per month per camera, $36 for a year for one camera plus your data on your carrier. For me, it was worth it to get instant pics to my phone so I can monitor camp, feeders and such. I had my trailer stolen from another camp and wanted as close to real-time images as I could get to monitor for theft. Plus, it is awesome to see animals come to feeders in real-time. They have AT&T, Verizon and US Cellular. It is also 4G LTE so not going to be discontinued like the 3G versions and I have the GC-Z4GB & GC-Z4GB2 versions and signals are strong. I also made my own solar panel charger/battery setup for all of them.

Looks like browning is coming out with another cellular camera. I’m interested at $200 price point. Can’t find anything on the browning website about it though.
