Bald Eagle at Seven Lakes High School

Yesterday morning in Katy there were two Bald Eagles in the Retention pond (empty) between Seven Lakes High School and the Junior High. Watched them for 30 minutes before they flew off. Campus police officer pulled up and watched them with me till they left. The amount of people jogging by them paying no mind was interesting. Videoed both but not sure how to post.

Bald eagles are fairly common down this way these days.

Saw one in my backyard a few days ago. They are just glorified buzzards.

They are everywhere on Sam Rayburn. Watched one snag a crappie a few weeks ago about 20 yards from the boat. Cool stuff

This. I knocked down a duck this season and it drifted off to the other side of the pond. By the time we finished and drove around to get it a bald eagle had torn it up. Been seeing them for many years in north Texas

We have one over in Old Katy around Morton and Avenue D. Seen him several times this year, and several neighbors have got pictures of it in their back yards. Pretty cool.

You are more likely to see a bald eagle than a mountain lion. Mom and dad have three at there home in round top. I have seen three here in Columbus
