June/ July is a great time to be going down there. We typically smash the trout on July 4th weekend every year. No help with finding you a guide out of Galveston. I could help you with East Bay or Sabine though.

Are you wanting to do offshore or inshore is your main decision you need to make. If inshore do y’all want to drift fish from boat or get out and wade. Pm me if you decide you want do inshore I have a few that I use regularly that are pretty good guys one I use his wife does taxidermy and both are pro staff for frio coolers and guide hunts as well, pretty nice guy
