    Knife repair needed

Not a fancy or even a good knife. I got it from my brothers place when he passed. So it has meaning. It broke as you can see in the pic. Would some be interesting in fixing it fir me.

I don’t see where it is broke???

Are you wanting a new handle put on it? Post some more pics... I should be able to do it for you but I need to know what you want done.

      *edit*

Saw the second post/pic. If someone can weld it for you I can do the handles in any wood you would like and clean up the blade.

Looks like it broke just inside the handle.

Look about an inch back from the fore end of the scales. Looks like blade is broke.

Make sure whoever welds it wraps the blade with a wet rag so heat doesn't run up the blade and ruin the temper.

I'd put it in a shadow box and hang it on the wall as is....

use another knife to cut stuff with.

Broken at rivet hole. Might just be on one side of the hole. Easy fix, a quick weld and new rivets. Use wet rags on either side of weld to keep heat from blade.

I think it is both sides. blade wiggles up and down

I'll take the handles off in the next few days.
