All Inclusive Resorts

Looking for recommendations for all inclusive resorts for the wife and I to get away to. The wife’s only must is that it needs to be ‘safe’, as she doesn’t want to have to worry about not coming home to the kids. I’m not worried about fishing or even really worried about extracurricular activities, just a place to relax, hang out, and leave life’s worries behind.


Disclaimer: I’ve searched, but things change so I’m asking for recent suggestions.

When are you looking to go? Personally I wouldn’t get on a plane right now.
Then you might have to quarantine for 14 days upon returning out of the country if you can get back in.

Ocean Maya. It was a great stay... good food, awesome drinks, and total relaxation. It may not be a new/or crazy updated place but it’s super clean, reasonable, and has been one of our favorite stays when in Mexico.

We went to sandals south coast in Jamaica for our honeymoon. Nice quiet place, not a lot of partying going on

Sandals, have been to several of their resorts and have always felt safe and lots to do. Plus all food and drinks included!!

We love Excellence resorts. They are very safe, adults only, and all inclusive. We’re booked for Playa Mujeres in July.

Couples Negril in Jamaica. Been twice and it was awesome both times. Adult only and completely all inclusive. The hotel has a bunch of stuff to do that’s free like paddle boarding, kayaks, scuba diving, snorkeling etc..Excursions outside of the hotel you have to pay for but we never did leave always just lounged around and enjoyed relaxing with a cold beverage.

When it opens back up try Sandals Exhuma......especially if you are a golfer !

I've probably been to at least a dozen all inclusive resorts and haven't been to a bad one yet. Just figure out where you want to go and investigate them. good sights are cheapcarribean.com and funjet.com to look and see what's out there.

2nd this. And take the private plane to the resort. It was a blast landing on a runway with goats.

Man that place is awesome.I don't think it's accessible now,but as soon as it is;Cyn,and I are going.Most relaxed place I've ever been.

Couples in negril is awesome. El dorado royale on the Mayan coast is my favorite in between Cancun and playa del Carmen
