Installing some composite siding and looking at the PacTool Gecko Siding Gauge. Question: the siding I am installing is 5/16, the tool that is most available to me to not delay my project is a 3/8 size...anyone that has used these tools...can I use the 3/8 tool on 5/16 siding or does the friction "bite" not catch on the thinner board?
