Just purchased a Carter thumb release and really like the action of it. Only issue I see is the sound it makes. I know there are a lot of positive reviews on thumb releases, but my question is have you all had any issues with sound when hunting?

Switched to thumb release, seems loud
Carter Too Simple 4-finger. No problems when hunting.

I worried about the noise when I first got one also, but have not had any issues. I just make sure to clip on a little sooner then I would with my index. The nice thing is your not attached to it. So yo can stalk, range what ever with out haveing to un clip all the time. Love mine, it a stan just x.Comment

I’ve never gotten any feedback from the animal’s I’ve killed with my Chocolate Addictions so I really can’t speak to the “loudness” of the release.
