Just a question I am bouncing around in my head, looking for a little input to push me in a direction. I have a Z7 Xtreme and do love it. I have been debating on pulling the trigger and buying a VXR. Is it even worth it or save the cash? Obviously I have too much time on my hands over thinking lol

I would go shoot a new VXR and let that help decide your decision. Let’s just say I made the mistake of shooting the VXR and now I own a VXR 31.5.
I really like this one. It’s the quietest bow I’ve see and with no hand shock. Also like the new engage grip on it....Major improvement. IMO
They are super easy to tune as well.

VXR vs. Z7 Xtreme
Wife shot the vxr set at 61 pounds, it was faster than the Hoyt rx4 set at 68.5 pounds that she shot. She likes the Hoyt better but that vxr is fast. I’d be willing to bet it will smoke that z7 extreme. It’s extremely quiet and dead in the hand. And for the first time in 5 years, they built a bow that balances and isn’t top heavy resulting in the need for a back bar. And it’s lighter than previous Mathews. Go shoot one if you haven’t. I’d have probably gotten one over the rx3 if they were out last year.
