Anyone with a 350 Legend in an AR platform?

In an effort to be a responsible stimulus payment recipient, I have decided to buy an AR In 350 legend. I have a lower and will be ordering an upper this week.

Does anyone have recommendations on barrel length and profile? I am leaning toward a standard M4 profile in a 16" barrel. There is some gain in FPS in going to a 20" but in looking up ballistics is doesn't seem like much for the added weight and loss of maneuverability you would have with the 16" barrel.

What will I use it for? Don't have a clue really. I could see it being a good short range deer, hog or black bear rifle under 250 yards. I just want one and the ammo isn't stupid expensive.

I built one with an 18-inch barrel. I used the lightest barrel I can find just to keep weight down. It had a few teething issues with feeding, but a little work with a Dremel tool and some polishing compound fixed it. I haven't shot anything with it yet, but on paper it shoots great groups.

Cool. I decided to go with the 16" M4 barrel. I ordered the complete upper from Bear Creek Arsenal. It's a side charger with a 15" handguard. This is my first purchase from Bear Creek, so I may post a review once I get to shoot it. It does come with a lifetime warranty should there be any issues.

I bought a BCA upper in 6.5 Grendel last year. Completely satisfied with it. Shot a 1" group at 100 yards recently, with $5/box ammo.

I would buy from BCA again.

i got an AR stoner upper from midway and after some polishing i have it feeding pretty good i have my thermal on it and all i’ve shot with it was some beavers in the pond it dropped them like a sack and beaver are pretty tough customers lol haven’t had any luck on hogs yet

I got a BCA carbine length upper to go on my lower and it runs great. I’ve yet to really do some accuracy testing but I’m happy with it for a short to mid range deer and hog gun!
