The last one I purchased was purchased online. It's been awhile so I don't remember who I bought it from. You will find one online way cheaper than any store.

Careybirdwell suggested PPL to me. Although he could of gotten me a great price I would have had to drive 3hrs 1 way to pick it up,PPL delivered to my house and had a really good price.

My RV AC went out this weekend. Guess I’ll be shopping this week for one.

I went thru this last year but luckily my AC guy was working on my home AC and he said he would look at it. He found a very small line leaking because with vibration it rubbed against the larger line. Soldered it, refilled and all good. I saw a RV repair guy at the storage working on a RV and asked him about that. He said yeah it's a common problem and most people replace them when it's an easy fix. I attached a pic showing which line was leaking on mine.

Window unit at Walmart 169 bucks if you got electricity , but it don’t help your resale value down the road though.

Before you replace the entire unit, be sure you're not possibly overlooking at a simple and cheap fix, like swapping out a bad capacitor.
