An audiophile friend of mine has 5-6 different audio systems and 3 are Macs. He probably has over $500K invested in his rigs. He’s got a pair of Focal speakers that were $125,000

His most recent purchase is a Tascam BR-20 reel to reel. He ordered 40 master series reels that cost $600-1000 each. Dudes addicted to high end audio

After much (too much my wife says) research, reading and talking to audio consultants putting in systems here in $10+ million dollar homes in Big Sky, I ordered 4 Origin Acoustic D65 in-ceiling speakers. Markup on these is incredible ($330 D65s cost retailer $115 I learned) I found the D67s on amazon for a bargain. He guy installs high-end auto audio systems and bought a dozen speakers NIB from someone.

Bought thru amazon since if they’re not NIB I have recourse.

The 4 speakers came UPS. All boxes are factory sealed. Yeah!
