    OIL FiELD LAY OFF

Well..... After 20 years in the industry starting as a roustabout ending up as a Sr. Materials Coordinator I have faced a lot of ups & downs. I've met a lot of good honest hard working men & women from all over the world through out my travels & proud to call them my family as I have spent most of my life working with them, & wish everyone of them the very best of what this life has to offer.

I have been laid off for the second time in my 20 years due to a crash in the market, & think it's time to look at something with more stability.
I was thinking of looking into becoming an insurance adjuster, however I am open to any & all suggestions / opportunities......so I thought I would reach out to the TBH family to see what is out there

    Many Thanks & God Bless

Tough spot to be in, this has to be a bad time to be in the patch. I got out about 2 years ago. Good luck in your search

Unless you were doing auto, an insurance adjuster would not be what I consider stable. All the independent wind/hail and also flood adjusters look forward to busy hurricane seasons, which are hit and miss. It’s a feast or famine line of work also.

Much appreciated.... Hopefully these crazy times we are living in right now don't last too much longer, I'm trying to take care of two sets of disabled parents as well as our household.

Man, I feel for all of you folks facing these tough times in the patch! I know it is scary and concerns for family finances are high. Y'all hang tight. This, too, will pass, but...who know how long it will take! Prayers sent for a brighter future.

Good luck! It is tough right now, I'm out here side hustlin' my old arse off just to ease the burden on my sons business by not drawing a paycheck!
