    Beretta A303 question

Looking at a used A303 in semi auto 20 ga. Looks perfect.
Anyone have experience with this model, and would offer their thoughts, positive and negative. I am getting this for my daughter.
    Thanks
    Bert

      I have 2. A 12 and a 20 303.

Recoil is greater than today's beretta (say a400 action) but your daughter could handle the 20 just fine. If I remember correctly shes taller and would be great with it

Its essentially an early 390 and I have a 12 and 20 of those as well

I've had 302s and 303s in both 20 and 12 gauge. They have all be very reliable. I could shoot lights out with them. I preferred them over Remington 1100s.

Depending on price and condition - guessing price to be between $500-650?

Yes. I have shot several 303s, all 12s. Love them. 390 is nice [emoji106]. Love my 303 [emoji384]

I have a 303 in 20 gauge. I bought it for my wife years ago. No problems at all. The 303 is considered one of the best Berettas.

Probably one of the finest Beretta autos ever made. Parts may be a little harder to find now but not impossible.

Good on you! I remember the first gun I "bought for my daughter"... She was 2 weeks old and the gun was a Pigeon grade 101 in 20 ga. to match her dad's 12 ga... She "still has that gun" and has yet to shoot it!!

I bought one for my wife last year. Had it fitted for her and she loves it. Sweet little shotgun. The guy that did the work for the fitting tried to buy it from me for $200 more than what I paid for it.

Thanks for the input. I passed on the gun for 2 reasons. I read many reviews about not being able to shim the throw on that model (she is a lefty) and I noticed it was hard to find replacement parts.
                    Thanks again
