    Camoflauge study article; "Predator Camo"

Some of you may already be familiar with this artlicle, but if not, it's worth a quick read about Predator camoflauge. I have been dressed in black hunting out of groud blinds for the past three years and will be hunting from a tree this upcoming season so new camo is needed. Predator Camo will be my #1 choice!

It is a great pattern. Not so great quality clothing. Pretty much any of the open patterns on the market will do the same thing as Predator, but for a higher cost. I wore Predator for a few years and was always disappointed in the fit and durability. I’ve switched to First Lite Fusion and it’s a world of difference better. But at a higher cost. JMO

Yep, I went full bore Sika and Kuiu.....its all about durability and any type of bowhunting. All the patterns on the market are dang good but silence is a key driver for me.

I like the Predator Spring Green for spring turkey and early season bowhunting. It just blends right in.

I didn't know they still made Predator, wore it years ago bowhunting Colorado and Montana. Always liked it.

Rothco's exclusive Two-Tone BDU Pants combine two great camouflage patterns into one pant, with each leg of the pant in a different camo color!

Predator and ASAT were the first to recognize the open patterns vs the dark blob camo that looked great up close but just a blob from any distance. Figure they didn't have the marketing money to surpass mossy oak and realtree. Kept waiting for either one of them to come out with excellent all weather clothing but they never were able to.

Used ASAT back in the day. Seemed to work well.

I’ve had pretty good luck with the
Natural Gear stuff in the past.

You know, I’ve seen guys in a brown/neutral Hawaiian shirt disappear in a sunflower field dove hunting.

I honestly don’t think it matters what camo pattern you wear, as long as you wear something.

Every time I used ASAT the brightness of it spooked the game. Generally I use a alternating shades top and bottom even if its blue jeans and a light shirt. Desert Tiger is an awesome pattern to fade out.
