Turkey hunting question

Do you play the wind when Turkey hunting like you do for deer? We set up near a feeder that has had turkeys there everyday on the camera. We saw one hen after the wind shifted away from the decoys. Today the toms are back in there. The only thing I could think of is the wind.

The turkey didn’t want to be there that day or something about your decoy they did not like.

Turkeys don't smell if thats what your asking. They 100% were spooked by your decoys. I would try again but without decoys.

If your near a feeder you don't really need the decoy anyway.
