Fleas/Ticks On Deer

I absolutely despise fleas & ticks.
Spiders, snakes, whatever don't bother me one bit but fleas & ticks I can't do. My buddy shot a doe last Jan. & it was infested w/them.
What do y'all do when you shoot an animal & it's infested w/these parasites?
Any way to kill them before gutting/quartering an animal?

Dont bother me but dawn soap will kill em quick and rinse off

Throw it in a pickup with a topper with your neighbor-you-don’t-like’s cat for an hour. Cat runs away, deer is tick and flea free. The bugs know the host is dead and are ready to jump off.

I believe this to be true. They were fleeing (see what I did there?) like crazy. I've quite a few deer but never seen one infested like this one was. It was disturbing.
Almost every pig I've shot had bad bugs on them but 99% of the time I don't even mess w/them.
Will Dawn kills ticks? I know fleas but ticks, too?
