And They Say the Weather Changes Fast in Texas

Look at the date stamps on these trail came pictures from our place in Iowa. The last picture is from a misty morning turkey hunt sit yesterday.

I "think" that was winter's last assault on us. We planted out garden yesterday. That tree that is flowering is about 10 yards from the protein feeder in the pictures above.

It is actually named after the Ioway Indian tribe, but you probably mean...

We say it's the land between the two rivers (Mississippi and Missouri) where the tall corn and big deer grow.

Spirit Lake area. Very nice. They say native Iowans always want to return home at some point. My wife did and that is how I landed here. We love it. It like going back in time.

I hope you’re right, I turned our sprinklers on yesterday, don’t need another Mother’s Day snowstorm like last year.

We ended up with 9” Thursday, then Friday I powerwashed our fence in shorts and a T-shirt.

Same here. We had 9-10 inches on 4-17. By the next evening it was gone.

We set a record low last week, below 0 here and snow just 2 nights ago.
I have shallots and garlic planted, peppers go in the ground in June.
