    update on my new(old) addiction

well i posted a few weeks back how i was going to pick up my new fish tank. so here is a picture of it. i just took it with my iphone so its not the best quality pic. it is all live freshwater plants and as of now, 20 neon tetras. i ordered 5 special order discus that should be here next week. ( if you have not seen how amazing discus are you should google them) anyways, i think it is looking good. the plants have been in for a week and i already see growth. i installed a diy co2 injector so the plants should start really kicking off soon enough. then of course, i will hate them because i will have to prune them back daily. but let me know what yall think.

    thanks

Hey Leeb. My wife is obsessed with getting some discuss fish. She's already put in live plants and all this other stuff to get the tank ready for them. Let me know how the discuss do because we keep hearing how hard they are to keep.

will do man. i have kept them before and they are not nearly as hard as alot of folks say. they are just very intimidating because of the price tag they carry. i found a place online that gets some really amazing color phases for way cheaper than a store. i will let you know if they are worth their weight.

              thanks for the compliments everyone.

OK, I was going to call you a sissie for not doing salt water, but since you've got live plants ... YOU DA MAN!

One of my former bosses had a freshwater tank that would blow your mind. Update once you get the discus; I'd like to see the progress.

Can you not get a fish that eats the plants to keep them pruned?

How do you clean the tank w/ the live plants?

My wife is all impressed with your orange plant and your grass. Now she wants a C02 Injector which I'm sure will cost me a bunch
