ISO of wire speed controller for mig welder

I have a Campbell Hausfeld 110v flux core wire welder. The wire feed speed controller broke and of course it's not longer available.

The part number is WC402100AV Looks like the below. I dont need the wiring but it looks like it came together when it was available.

Anyone have any suggested replacement parts I could use

Here's the link to the replacement. https://www.ereplacementparts.com/wi...-p-433255.html

I'd be willing to bet it's either the cap or the voltage regulator on the board that's bad.

The knob broke off inside the white piece you see in the picture.

That's the rheostat, should be a part number on it. The fun part is that it's surface mounted.

Do you think this will work?

Probably not, no voltage regulator on it and the resistance range on the rheostat needs to match. If there is a part number on the rheostat (dial piece) you could get a replacement and have a local electronics place solder it on for you.

Here is the one that’s in it

That thing is rarer than hens teeth, here's the best match that I could find. No guarantees that it will fit.

Thanks. My welder is 20 years old. I ordered the one you listed. We'll see what happens
