Magnolia Lot Clearing Cost

Me and the wife are looking to start putting the plan in motion to build a home and we were just curious if anyone has had around an acre cleared around the magnolia area. Most of the lots we are looking at are heavily wooded. We are going to leave some trees but just looking for a ball park number. TIA

Depends on whether you are talking hydro mulching it all or bringing in a dozer to push over the trees and stumps and burning the trash.

We had about half of our 2.5 acres hydro mulched for our build. We paid $3,000 (if I remember correctly) but had to pay the pad guy to dig out the stumps with a bulldozer.

My advice is go look at their work beforehand. Make sure they know what they are doing because they can scar up trees and rake over roots. Trees won't die immediately afterwards but will die so if you want to maintain a wooded look that would be disastrous.
