    Termite help please

Have some termites boaring into my sheetrock in my cabin . It's only were the walls meet the ceiling. I had sprayed a couple weeks before and there were hundreds of them dead inside. There was like a mud pod also were they dug the holes. Anyone got any advice? Maybe a better poison?? Thanks

I am not an experert by any means, but they go back to the ground regularly. You have to treat the ground. They will make a mud tunnel from ground to wood. If it is a slab dig a shallow trence (few inches) around slap and pour treatment in it and cover back up. If Pier and beam treat the ground all around the piers.

I think it is Fipronil. I know that the company we use to treat our rent houses pours the mixture in the trench really thick. Make like one gallon per 5 feet.

I had a pretty bad termite issue with termites at my lake house. I had exterminators treat them. I watched the process, and it was pretty simple. They placed bait stations in the ground around the house and within a couple of weeks they where all gone. I went on the do my own pest control website and found the same bait stations, if I had to do it over again I’d do it myself.

this. And MAKE SURE you reinspect for recurrence often afterwards.

Chlordane is the best but it's been outlawed for a long time.

Termidor HE is your best option. Application rate is 2 gallon per 10' per foot of depth. Dig a trench 2"by 4" around structure. Let it soak in and make sure back fill is also treated. Takes about 90 days before elimination. Baits can work but can take a long time before colony is eliminated.
