First Fawn

Saw the first dawn of the season today in the neighborhood. I forget how small the newborns are.

All the doe in my backyard have that “bloom” of pregnancy about them. I enjoy watching their fawn frolicking around the yard as I drink my morning coffee.

Saw this tiny dude in Lavaca County today.

a couple of our "pet" does have disappeared so I expect they're laid up with a newborn....

Easy to count back 201 days so if the fawn dropped in the last few days conception should have been in early October
