Best insecticide for mounts?

Little devils are hitting a few of my mounts and I need to get rid of them before a shipment of African animals gets here from my Taxidermist. What do yall suggest?

To put directly on the mounts I think I'd try some diatomaceous earth. Get you a cheap duster or make one. I guess sevin dust could work as well. I'd be skeert to put too much directly on em...especially liquids. Dust can be cleaned off later with a soft vacuum brush.

This is what I was told to use---and a quart goes a long way if you only have one shoulder mount.
