      I've ahd a Remington...

for 2.5 years now without so much as a single hitch. They are pretty durable IMO cuz the hogs knocked the feeder over and bent the suspension arms, but it was still running whenI stood it up. It's still feeding great and the battery life is outstanding as well.

Mangnum feeders suck especially the dial clock ones...never go off on time or go off and stop in the middle of a spin. My moultrie works good and is reliable, cheap.

            Jason,

I am not worried about feeder problems this year......since I now also have a J&L setup.....I know where to trade off parts if I need to do so.

I would not buy any american hunter timer products....they suck!
Moultrie timers suck as well. anything analog is junk like the older sweeney timers.

I have no problems with HCR,Remington digital,b a products, the timer.......and my On Time Solar has been fair but would not buy another!

I do like the Boss Buck and the spin feed timer adapter but I would personally modify the plate adding a round varmint cage made for the 55 gl. drum feeders plus a 12V "The Timer" complete setup from J&L feeders with solar charger for the perfect spin feeder setup.

Remington Digital Feeders!!!!! I have had mine on some feeders that I built 5 years ago and they are still going strong. Never any problems with them even after having them mounted on the feeders while "storing" them in the back yard open to all the elements for 2 years!!! I put in a new battery and they worked like a champ!!!

Smart...no bad ones here. I have an older spin cast that I can barely make out the screen to program & is still going and the rest are THP and are my favorites.

Like others have stated, we have a couple of guys on the lease who will not invest in anything of value...most look home made
