Love my fxt and have always loved the ride. I am really considering getting a can am though

Haven’t found one that rides better than my Honda Pioneer 1000.

I don't know how anything can be smoother than my ranger. I have 2 buddies with mules that always say how much smoother n faster my ranger is over their mules. Don't know anyone with a canam

To the guys that have a Mule and like it, but are still thinking about a Can Am...what is it about the Can Am that has you wanting one?

I'm in the market and am leaning Mule Pro FXT LE right now, but am also considering Can Am HD 8. I have to have a 6-seater.

I'm leaning Mule b/c it seems like a workhouse, very well built and is fairly bulletproof (despite current recall and stop sale). I also like that it does go as fast as the others b/c my kids will be driving it some and I don't want them in a racecar. Both seem like they could handle extreme terrain with a lift and good tires.

Really rhe imly reason for me is because can am is running the 0% deal right now. Ive had my fxt since 2016 and its been flawless.

If you buy the XT model or up they have two different keys. A grey key (valet) and a black key (performance). They grey key limits the rig to 27ish mph, and the black key unlocks all the performance. I’d just give the kids the grey key. Talking about the Can Am.

If you preload the shocks it makes a HUGE difference. I put heavier springs and the roll got worse. Preloaded the shocks and it’s better than stock now

Which springs did you go with? I went with the S3 HD Springs in rear, and S3 Extreme HD springs in the front. I’ve got far less body roll now, and that’s being roughly 4” taller between springs and tires.
The ride is very noticeably improved all the way around.

My can am rides great, and even better with the s3 springs. The Kawasaki is too soft. And it is now lifted 2" with bigger tires. It is better with the lift, which is a bracket lift.

Pre-loaded the shocks???? Is this aftermarket or settings on the existing shocks, heaver or lighter?

Just not familiar with the term.

I got the springs from the dealer. I also installed a highlifter lift but have yet to find wheels and tires i want

Factory shocks. We jacked up the front & rear and spun the adjustment to extend the shock and create a stiffer ride
