Watching Netflix on Android issues

I have the Galaxy S8 Active

When I watch Netflix on my phone. Screens so dark i can't see it, unless I hold a flashlight over the sensor on the top left of my phone.

I've got the adaptive screen turned off,
screen brightness maxed out, screen profile set to AMOLED Cinema.
Blue Light Filter turned off
Doesn't change a thing.
Does bind the shirt out of me when I'm on TBH tho

Have the screen brightness on Netflix app maxed out as well.

First thing I would try after no help from settings adjustment is to completely.remove the app, restart your phone and then reload from the Play store. Good luck.
