Besides, It is likely to be more American made(Texas) than the Chevy.
Where do the rice burner's profits go?

Besides.... at least GM and Ford helped out with ventilators and other needed equipment with this pandemic going on.

Had a 2015 Silverado Z71. 5.3 6 speed. Had issues at about 30k due to AFM.
Had to replace left side of motor if I remember correctly. Leveled with 33’s. Only got about 15-17 mpg

Traded it in for a 2017 Silverado LTZ 6.2 8-Speed. Took it off the lot and had it tuned with an intake. ABSOLUTE BEAST!!! Drove smooth, pulled my 12’ trailer and Mule well. Leveled with same 33’s got 17-19 pen to paper. At about 40k, transmission started slipping. Had a hard shift from the beginning. Also started getting a knock.

Traded it in for 2019 Tundra TSS. Leveled with factory tires getting 12-14 pen to paper. I have 10k on it and no noticeable issues. Pulls same load just as easy. Rides smooth. Hoping to keep this one long term.

Out of those 2 choices I’d choose the f150 with the 3.5 eco boost... Seriously the 3.5 is a beast of an engine.

Toyota’s are good, but bad fuel mileage and pretty basic.... And the new Chevy.. well I have no clue what the designers were thinking. If you go Chevy, get the 6.2 for some power.

Toyota or Ford from a life long GM person. My GM’s over the last six years, especially the last four were/are in the shop more than a Land Rover. Anything with a Human/Machine Interface control module is not my bag no more.

            ^^^Winner

That's exactly what I will be doing when the time comes 2021 6.2L

Tundra's are just fugly in my opinion.

I have never been a Ford person. I recently drove models from the top 3 American companies. I ended up with a 2020 Ford. The performance and drive was just so much better than the other two.

The Tundra will double what the Chevy will do in longevity. It is a no brainer for me. If you trade often it doesn't matter.

True, GM and Ford are building ventilators.... let's hope they run better than there car's and trucks do.

                        Lmao.

My 99 Chevy 2500 was at 295,000 at trade in.

2003 went over 300,000. I had to sink it in the ocean to stop it.

The 2008 1500 is at 328,000 and still going.

My wife's 2008 is still her daily driver. Been in the shop once for the front end.

My 2015 GMC is at 166,000 trouble free miles.

Too many American cars are made in Mexico and Canada. Many Asian cars are Made in the USA.

Honda has 3 of the top 5 most American made vehicles. More domestic parts and assembly than the Corvette.
