    Requesting help with my pup

    Afternoon GS:

I am a graduate student in Houston with a 10 year old bealge. Long story short, it has been a rough couple of weeks and his general vet believes he has herniated a disc in his neck and recommends he see a vet neurologist (I did not know that these existed) for evaluation for an MRI. My resources limited being a graduate student but I am trying to do what I can to help my dog out, as he has failed medical therapy up to this point. I have created a gofundme to help with the costs to best figure out the problem to determine the best course of action. I know these are difficult times for many of us and an MRI for a pet sounds outrageous but he truly is a family member. Hope yall are staying safe!

Get your dog on a Glucosamine/Vitamin supplement program! I have a 10.5 year old dog that hobbled before I added Glucosamine into his diet. There are various Glucosamine supplements on the market, some carry a balanced vitamin delivery for canine specific needs, that are added to their food in the morning (my schedule) to cover my dog's needs.

    I'm using:

NUPRO - Vitamin supplement in powder form
PROSENSE - Hip and Joint pill (pound it up into powder)

Both added to a structured diet of chicken and vegetables blended and cooked for consumption
