My neighbors clover/alfalfa field just above our house has greened up and the deer are hitting it every night. I guess after eating woody browse all winter they are ready for something green. You can throw a dime over your shoulder and it will pretty much land in a deer track.
The deer are also hitting my little winter rye food plot down in our meadow. It got grazed on all winter, but is growing up some now that they have some other greens to eat.
The bucks are just starting to show some nubs.
