    Recommend Houston area firearm training

    Evening GS

When this covid chaos clears, I was hoping to take a 3 gun class or advanced pistol/carbine class. I am by no means a professional or expert marksman, but I would say that I am above novice level in terms of training. Has anyone taken or can anyone recommend some good training classes around the Houston area? Yall stay safe.

I did 3-gun training with Tom Dowdy at the Thunder Gun Range Shooter's Club. Thunder Gun Range is on FM1314 between Porter and Conroe just a few miles north of 99.

        http://www.combatshootingandtactics.com/ in Nacogdoches.

Paul Howe is the man. Retired Delta, I've been to a metric sh*t ton of schools in shooting and tactics throughout the US. There is CSAT and then there is everybody else.

Howe does an outstanding job in instructing. His civilian classes in active shooter response, home defense and general weapons training are the best.

Lots of folks instruct, Howe backs up every single part of his instruction with the how and why if needed.

Do not be intimidated by a lack of weapon knowledge, Howe will take you thru the basics.
