    Chevy camaro tuners around Austin

Anyone know a good tuner around Austin
I have a friend that has 2 cars needing tuned.

One is a 1971 LS6 swap w heads and cam starts runs great wot but lags a bit on acceleration.. with the mods this should tear you off the seat... again has newer computer that need diagnostic tune

Other is a 2016 that was a flood recovery runs revs idles great but in limp mode needs diagnostic hooked up

I’ve tried some in both Austin and Houston, ended up taking my car to Pat G in Victoria. Worth the drive, I can promise you... I had an absolute mutant of a car and he got after it like nothing I’ve ever seen before!

I would hit up the Camaro and Corvette forums and see what they have to say.

The best LS tuner I know of is Casey at mailordertuner.com. He’s actually got a shop just north of Temple. He turned a Silverado into a quite a salty truck. I understand he’s really good with all the LS motors

You shouldn't need to go anywhere. Find a shop you want to do the work. Give them a call, tell them you want them to tune the car (I had my last car done out of a shop in Cali while in Katy. Helped a friend get his car tuned out of another shop in Cali). They will get you hooked up with a datalogger, and make you run some logs. You then send those logs to them. They can then take that data and create a tune specific for your car. Then you just put the tune into your car through the OBDII port.

It sounds complicated, it's really not. EFI is 100x easier to work with, and get the best of the best.

Another vote for Casey Rance. He does all tuning for Texas Speed and Performance in Georgetown. He can even remote tune.

Texas Speed and Performance in Georgetown. They're legit. Some of the baddest LS builds come out of that place.
