Some good ones mentioned, but I'll throw in The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

            Since the year 2000?

            Hidalgo is outstanding.

Good Old Boys with Robert Duvall. Probably my husband's favorite.

No Broke Back Mountain fans here?...good.

Open Range was great. No Country for Old Men. Kind of a western, they wore cowboy hats.

                Sure liked the Rifleman.

Godless on Netflix is pretty good. It can keep you busy for 7 hours.

I liked all the ones mentioned...

Not mentioned is The Ballard of Buster Scruggs.
This isnt your typical western but for me it was entertaining and worth the watch. If I had to describe it, I would call it a modern day comedy western.

If you can find it I liked a movie called "The Hi-Low Country" Had Woody Harrelson, Billy Crudup, Patricia Arquette, Sam Elliot, Penelope Cruz, and some other good character actors.

Might have been before 2000 but I liked "All the Pretty Horses " too.

The Kid (now streaming on Amazon Prime) came out in 2019. I thought it was a solid movie.

Hateful Eight has not been mentioned that I see above if you like Tarantino type movies.

"Modern day westerns" would be Hell or High Water and Wind River
