Just realized they are 3k for the rack plus the roof. Thought they were 1400-1700$ but was looking at it wrong.

    They are dang nice though

I guess I started this thread in hopes of finding a good roof and rack in the 1000-1200$ range but looks like 1500-2000$ is much more realistic and a little more north if aluminum

They have one thats flat without a basket for a grand. but all the bells and whistles are not cheap. IMO they are charging a premium. When I made my top a stained 4x10 sheet of aluminum was 35 bucks and I think I paid 75 to have it sprayed in bedliner

          Looks like you are right!

I was looking at the Elite Series assuming it was normal but looks like they have a Guide series also.

          Guide Roof+Rack is around 1800$
          Elite Roof+Rack is around 3,000$

Keep looking. I can't remember names, but there are a few others making very similar roofs for less money.

Why not have a piece of sheet metal cut, bend the front couple inches down and have it sprayed with bed liner? Shouldn't cost more than a couple hundred bucks.

Wits end that looks great for the price, who built it for you?

150 you get a roof yet?

All i want is a metal/aluminum roof with rail around it. Dont care for lights or speakers

What do yall think the weight difference is between an aluminum roof vs metal? Any other advantages of aluminum other than weight?

If you just want it for more room in the bed as you said, pick up a cheap trailer you can pull with it, way more versatile and would save lots of money

Doesn't it come with a roof? Your making payments put that 1k into 5 months of principle.

Can you measure for a perfect fit for take off? Any sheet metal guy can bend a roof in 30 minutes. Only issue would be if its larger than a 4x8 sheet.

Pay him $200 plus $75 for the metal then paint.

Use that money to pay it off then save some more to pay it off.

No sir. Plan is to be snagging a roof and new springs just before teal season. I’ll be reaching out to a couple people on this thread then!

The marine place here in spring mentioned earlier quoted me roughly 2500$ but they look like they do dang good work.

Unfortunately the roof option upon purchase of it wasn’t what I was wanting so didn’t roll it into the financing

Has anyone put in their own switch box, and wire their own lights and sound system to it? I don't want anything extensive, but I would like a small light bar and some auxiliary Red LED's if I can find them. Also, thinking about putting in a wetsounds speaker or something similar. You start doing stuff like that with these custom racks and you get to $3K quick.
