My MIL was mowing her MIL's yard a couple years ago with a push mower on a very hot day. Some guys pulled up and unloaded their equipment and mowed the biggest section of the yard. They loaded their stuff up and left before she finished the small section she was mowing. They'll never know how much she appreciated it, as they probably left before she tried to pay them.
Mow it forward sounds good. That was a nice gesture on your part, and good luck if you proceed.

Please show us the thread or post where anyone has complained about your mowing.

We would also like to know. He started a thread to survey other TBHers mowing style, but we never heard back on the results of his survey. Left us hanging!

On the way we drove by and older gentleman who was cutting his 3ft tall grass with an electric mower, and an old one at that. Pushing it 2 feet and backing it up again in repetition. It was tough to watch. I told my wife that I needed to stop. So I walked up to him and asked if I could mow for him. He said "well I cant pay you anything" and I explained that I wasn't in the business. Turns out he is 70 with Parkinsons and lives on an acre. Retired music professor at ACC and extremely talented piano player. He ended up giving me one of his albums and a tomato plant. As you can imagine the whole yard was in the same shape. After an hour the neighbor across the street came over with his mower and helped out tremendously. After about 4-5 hours we got it done. Made me want to start a little non profit and go around doing yard work for the elderly and veterans. So as I was working I was trying to come up with a name for the operation. Wondering if you all had any ideas?
Mow It Forward was just an idea. Appreciate it!

I do this for a living and have become very successful
I do this same thing when I see it
My hats off to you and the other neighbor who came over to help

                  Your a good man sir

                        UPDATE
Went back over to the Skiles place yesterday to finish up and offered a suggestion. I told Mr. Skiles and his wife that their 15x30 greenhouse could really provide some bounty if cleaned out and fixed up a little. They both gave me permission to fix up and plant greenhouse, and restore their chicken coop, which hasn't seen birds in 10 years. The new plan is to set up a donation egg, vegetable and fruit stand in front which will provide them with a small additional income. May have missed the window for spring but I am super excited.
Also have a friend working on building a website for me and another friend teaching me the ropes on establishing non-profit/ not for profit.
For those music lovers check out Beto and the Fairlanes on Youtube for some awesome latin jazz.
