    Mow it forward

So I loaded up my mower and weedeater today to go cut my friend's grass who just moved to Apache Shores. On the way we drove by and older gentleman who was cutting his 3ft tall grass with an electric mower, and an old one at that. Pushing it 2 feet and backing it up again in repetition. It was tough to watch. I told my wife that I needed to stop. So I walked up to him and asked if I could mow for him. He said "well I cant pay you anything" and I explained that I wasn't in the business. Turns out he is 70 with Parkinsons and lives on an acre. Retired music professor at ACC and extremely talented piano player. He ended up giving me one of his albums and a tomato plant. As you can imagine the whole yard was in the same shape. After an hour the neighbor across the street came over with his mower and helped out tremendously. After about 4-5 hours we got it done. Made me want to start a little non profit and go around doing yard work for the elderly and veterans. So as I was working I was trying to come up with a name for the operation. Wondering if you all had any ideas?
Mow It Forward was just an idea. Appreciate it!

Sounds catchy. And a good way to meet folks, if you like people.

Way to step up! My parents neighbors husband died a month ago. Her yard needed a bat wing shredder and 50% was so wet you would bury a 4wheeler. I mowed what I could and did the rest with a weed eater. I doubt she will ever know it was even mowed, but it needed to be done and I was glad to help her. She thinks to world of my 2 kids.

Thanks for doing what needed done Sir!

My neighbor across the street cant walk very well. He rides his lawn mower to take out his trash and get the mail. He has 10 Crepe Mertyles along the street that are, or were way out of control. He couldnt mow between them and he cannot weed eat. I went and weed eated around them and then thinned them out and cut them back so he could ride his mower thru them. Gonna trim his hedges when it stops raining every other day. Then I will go to work on his 80 yr old sisters stuff. She lives next door to him.
