MSMA will kill everything that is green, including grass. Must be sprayed when grass is dormant. Licensed use only. If you get some and use it, be careful or you could kill everything including trees
Weed b gone is what you need to apply

A lot of bad info in this thread. And a lot of good.

Dont use grazon p & d. The P stands for picloram which can kill trees, or other woody plants or shrubs. You cant buy it anyway with no license.

Msma wont kill everything that is green, it is a selective herbicide. It will kill undesirable grasses, like bahia, crabgrass, sandbur, etc.

Dont use roundup while your Bermuda is green, yes it will just stunt it. But there is no need since you are probably just after broadleaf weeds.

If you want to do it yourself, the safest thing to probably use is amine 400 24d, with no license you can only buy it by the quart, which is about 13 bucks I believe. If you are going to hand spray your whole yard, I think it's about 1oz per gallon. If you are just going to spot spray weeds you can probably go 2oz per gallon. Add a little surfactant.

I am not an expert, but I do hold a commercial applicator license and have a spraying side business.

There is better ways to do all this I'm sure, pre emergent, fertilizer, etc. But right now on weeds that's what I'd recommend.

What is preferred if you have lots of post oak trees in the yard that you do not want to damage?

This plus watering worked for me. Plus it won't give your pets cancer. They can absorb a lot of herbicides through their feet.

No sir. It’s a broadleaf herbicide and does not kill Bermuda. It will kill centipede or st Augustine

So if I have St. Augustine in the yard and on the outskirts where there is no sprinkler coverage it is more of Bermuda grass. When the bahia starts showing, and I have recently seen a couple of sprouts, is Amine 400 the best item to spray? And reading the above I should be able to spray with a broad spreader and not spot spray?

This time a year, 24d will probably be best. Then in June/july spray with MSMA if you can. In the fall put out pre emergent. About January and/or February of next year, spray the whole yard with Round-up while the bermuda is dormant.
