    Vizsla needs a new Home...

This is the situation .... we had two grown Vizslas and my wife thought it was a great idea to get a 3rd.... and I lost that battle but now I won the war!!! He is a great dog, neutered 1 1/2 years old, house broken, crate trained, will fetch a ball till your arm is tired. He is good with other dogs and cats But as of last season was still gun shy. He was coming around but the season was over by then. Very hyper like most Vizslas, and that is the main reason he needs a new owner... He needs more attention than we can give him. PM for more info...

Great breed, if it was a female I would be headed your way. I have a male vizlsa that doesn’t play with other males.
Someone should jump on this. Vizsla’s are amazing dogs that do very well with kids.

How did you introduce him to gunshots and when you say coming around could you elaborate?

Thanks .... I started with the gamo pellet gun , then the old 22.... he had a little flench with the 22 , but the 12 gauge was tooooo much , he ran and hid the first few days , after that he wouldn’t run and would watch the other dogs retrieve dove, but would not participate. Our other Vizslas were the same way , and came around to become great hunters!

If you get the dog, try "masters voice gun shy cure". Some breeders start this on new pups. It is suppose to be awesome.
